Techno club Graf Karl in Kassel fights for survival

According to HNA, the Kassel club Graf Karl is asking for support after the state of Hesse demanded repayment of 46,388 euros in 2021 Corona bridging aid. The operators, Willy Bautzmann and Tim Marth, say the club's future is at risk.

The club was closed for economic reasons during the Corona restrictions and dancing was banned for months, so the aid covered running costs and made the venue corona-safe, according to the operators. Bautzmann and Marth offered to repay 31,332 euros immediately and asked that the share for July and August be waived, but Hesse has not yet decided. They withdrew their lawsuit because they saw little chance of success and a longer case would have caused further costs. According to the club, more than 5,200 euros have been raised so far toward a goal of 35,000 euros.

The track came out on October 29, and the album ‘7LLVSION’, Boys Noize’s first solo record in five years, is due on November 6.
