Bailey treats the record as a connected whole rather than a collection of standalone club tracks, with individual pieces contributing to a broader narrative. ‘I never wanted to make an album that simply collects club tracks,’ says Bailey. ‘I wanted every piece to tell part of a bigger story. This album reflects where I am today, not only as a producer and DJ, but as a person.’ The record draws on more than three decades in electronic music, and its mix of rhythmic intensity and cinematic elements extends the direction he has pursued in his productions and performances. The release sits alongside his ongoing work with Materia, international DJ dates and collaborations.
