Justice, aka Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, have composed the original music for the next GTA game, and the album ‘Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score’ arrives on December 11 via Because Music/Ed Banger Records. The release will span 30 tracks plus bonus material, including a ‘three-hour suite of material’, and will be available on all major streaming services as well as a limited edition CD and vinyl. ‘Pusher’ came out on October 29, following ‘Flower In a Hurricane’ featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, which will appear on the separate soundtrack ‘Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album’. The single reached number 39 on the US Billboard Singles Chart, and de Rosnay says: ‘The scope of the game is so large geographically and thematically that it was clear from the beginning that the music would also have to be very broad in terms of emotions, genres, and textures.’

Patrick Mason builds ‘Hood Dub 7’ around rolling percussion, a dubbed-out bassline, minimal kicks and atmospheric synths, and the track includes his own vocals. He explains: ‘‘Hood Dub 7’ is my love letter to Berlin, paying homage to my early days at Berghain. ‘Paris Dub 1’ was one of the first techno tracks I really connected with, and I wanted to capture that same feeling, but twist it into something more contemporary, dark and rooted in my own experiences.’ MASONICS was conceived to connect underground music’s history with contemporary artistic experimentation. At Amsterdam Dance Event, the label hosted a showcase at Lofi on October 21 featuring Laure Croft, Yasmin Regisford, Shinedoe and DJ Rush, alongside a commissioned performance by Soraya Schulthess and her DANCÆ collective.

The second, on Saturday December 19, features Carl Cox, 2manydjs and Chloé Caillet at Depot Mayfield, the club’s home since 2019. The club ranked 15th in DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs 2026 poll, and its anniversary programme ran for 12 weeks.
