The package came out on October 22 on BPitch as a companion to the album ‘New Life’, which was released in July, and the album's themes include self-determination, community and ecological responsibility. British producer Cleric gives ‘Bella’ a powerful, precise sound, while Yazzus, a DJ and producer with Ghanaian-British roots and a resident at Mala Junta, turns ‘Lights Off’ into a fast, driving track with trippy grooves. Icelandic producer Bjarki adds a pumping four-to-the-floor beat and atmospheric details to ‘Cruising’, while Ellen Allien herself puts the voice at the center of her a cappella version of ‘Fantazy’, pushing the track in a dark, psychedelic direction. The album blends her characteristic techno with elements of minimal, darkwave and hypnotic euphoria.
