Garmin has launched its first AMOLED display screen in Garmin Venu. It is similar in appearance to the Apple and Samsung galaxy watch. Protected with black corning Gorilla glass 390 X 390 pixels high-resolution display for crisp text.

You can set display in “Always On” mode to see date and time. In this setting your background display will be turned off only date and time will be visible without touching your watch. The company has claimed up to 2 days of battery backup in this mode, other competitors in the market like Apple, Samsung have the same battery backup capability. To get this setting you need to swipe the screen of your smart watch, you will see the gear icon, after opening that you can set time out the option to “Always On” mode from the menu.

Except for the touch screen, this watch has two action buttons. The top right button is used for timer and viewing the control menu. Opening other activities like Garmin Pay, music player, phone connection toggle, GPS location toggle, do not disturb toggle, find my phone, stopwatch, brightness settings, lock the display, and power down.

Another button is used to go back to the previous display and marking the lap, open device settings, etc. Except for the touch screen, this watch has two action buttons.
